Maria

As a church we are being truly blessed by our awesome God and we have some great testimonies to share.

We wanted to share this one about Maria.

A few months ago we had a phone call from a local pregnancy crisis centre telling us about Maria who they had referred to Tree Of Life Church.

We had no more details than a name, no address, no description, no nothing. So we began praying for Maria and asking God to hook us up. After a few weeks and no Maria we continued praying for her but a little less fervently, but we did continue.

Just before our celebration meeting a couple of weeks ago Graham from Love & Grace told us that he believed God was going to add two significant people to Tree Of Life Church through the outreach and celebration. Hallelujah!

On the Sunday of our celebration Shaddie met Philip and his girlfriend Maria and after chatting for a while felt God tell him that they need to get married. We didn't realise this was the Maria we had been praying for and thought no more of it than that.

Philip then joined us and just this Sunday Maria came too. What a joy to have this couple join our church. But still we weren’t putting 2 + 2 together so God had to make things very plain for us on Wednesday at home group.

Maria it turns out is the very same Maria we were praying for a few months ago, God is doing some great things in her life and amazingly he’s brought her partner to church with her and we believe they are the two significant people that God promised would join Tree Of Life Church.

God is awesome!
